Otra maravilla muy desconocida , creo que es el "Castillo de San Ferran" o "San Fernando".
Se encuentra en Figueras, Gerona y es impresionante. Es posiblemente la fortaleza mas grande de Europa y una de las mejores.

El castillo de Sant Ferran está a unos 15 o 20 (máx.) minutos a pie desde el centro de la ciudad y también se puede ir en coche ya que en la entrada hay a la izquierda aparcamientos gratuitos.
La entrada sin guía vale 3 euros y con guía + la visita guiada de las reservas de agua subterráneas con una barca + el recorrido con un 4x4 cuesta 15€ pero antes se tiene que llamar a este número (972 50 60 54) (0034 972 50 60 54 si se llama desde otro país) y reservar.

Esta semana he estado visitándolo, y he hecho el circuito el Landrover por los fosos y navegado por el algive.

Especial mente interesante el lugar donde murió Mariano Alvarez de Castro. La silla es una reproducción pues el original se perdió en la guerra civil.
