Según lei estan hechas con un tipo de pelicula que se llama "Kodachrome 4x5" que se considerada como una de las mejores de la historia por los expertos.

Muy buenas
El mecanismo de la fotografia es muy sencillo y con las condiciones adecuadas salen muy buenas fotos.
El problema es que estamos aconstumbrados a ver siempre las mismas fotos, copiadas asta la saciedad en revistas y periodicos.
Por ejemplo, las de la revista Signal , en color se ven bien en la revista , pero si consiguieramos los negativos y sacasemos una copia en papel fotografico seguro que nos dejarian asombrados.

Esta semana compre un especial de la revista muy interesante dedicado a la 1ª Guerra Mundial con montones de fotos en color aunque seguramente que algunas de ellas estarian un poco coloreadas te sorprende bastante, por que como bien dices Astil estamos aconstumbrados a las fotos mas famosos que suelen ser en blanco y negro.

Es una foto a color o coloreada a mano??

Creo que la foto japonesa es coloreada,y de la Gran Guerra hay un libro con fotos a color,pero son todas de poses ya que el sistema no permitía hacer en movimiento,puesto que requerían mucha exposición.

Debido a unas sensibilidades de películas muy bajas, unas velocidades de obturación muy lentas y unos diafragmas muy cerrados, por eso los primeros retratos se tomaron a cadáveres en sus cajones y a paisajes, por los prolongados tiempos de exposición, luego poco a poco se fueron mejorando sistemas y sensibilidades, con lo cual ya permitió hacer fotos de sujetos posando de forma natural y de sujetos en movimiento.
